Ruth asks…
Hey can a US lady please help me with a shoe size?
I am an australian size 8.5 , apparently according to all the size conversion charts online that makes me, like an american size 11 or something! But the thing is when I was in the states I bought four pairs of shoes and 3 say 9m and the other 8.5 ... should I just order 9's? Could any ladies with a size 9 foot or even 8.5 size foot please measure their foot in cms and let me know? Thanks so much! xoxox Much love.

If you had size 11 feet i think people would call you big foot im in canada and the shoe size 8.5 is the same here

What is considered short by ladies these days?
I've never considered myself short, but recently I was rejected solely on the basis of my height. I'm a pretty confident guy and I struck up a conversation with a girl on a lounge while at a bar. After a while of chatting she asked me how tall I was (as we met and chatted sitting down), so I st ood up and she was about a half an inch to one inch taller than me (in heels). She said I was short, with a smile, and then walked away. I know I shouldn't waste time on someone who is as superficial as that but honestly is 178cm (180cm in shoes) considered short these days? I looked it up on google and it seems about the average height for a Caucasian male, but that statistic would probably include much older guys than me (I'm in my early twenties) who on average would probably be shorter than generation Y (I studied human science briefly and learned that people from a few generations ago were a few inches shorter and shoe size smaller than today's average - I'm a size 11 shoe, but I've already finished growing). In nightclubs and bars I go to it seems two thirds of people are six foot or above. So is my height considered short? Because when I've been rejected I've assumed it was because of my dancing, or looks, or interests never height... but maybe that's become a reason now? Guys have you been rejected like this? And ladies what are your opinions on this?
Our pick of the answers:
You're not short at all! You're the same height as my brother (178), and i always feel he is very tall. My boyfriend is 188 cm and i've never really thought of him as tall.. It's weird.
