Your Questions About Court Shoes Tennis

Looking for them in the US. Either online or in stores.

Our pick of the answers:

Globus or lifestyle stores

Carol asks…

tennis/court shoes vs. cross trainers?

I play tennis and i didn't know if cross training shoes would work the same as tennis or court shoes. thanks:)

Our pick of the answers:

Depends on what court your playing on. Cross-training shoes don't really offer the level of support you need and is helpful for tennis as tennis shoes do. If you play on clay, then you need tennis shoes. Cross-trainers souls could damage the clay and not allow to slide. My advice would be to purchase tennis shoes. Fi you play on hard-court, then cross trainers would work fine. But if your in high school, sometimes matches will be on either clay or hard-court so tennis brand shoes would just work the best. You don't need to spend 100$ on them. I bought mine on sale for about 25$. DO NOT SPEND 100$ ON TENNIS SHOES. They're not worth it. All tennis shoes essentially do the same and perform the same way. Don't worry about brands and don't believe the hype. Hope i helped!! Good luck! :)
