Guys what type of high heels do you find sexy?
Very high Stiletto heels, wedges, heels with platform; I am planning to buy new pair of high heels so I need your advice…want to impress someone...Coz I am short so I had wear high heels almost daily mostly wedged heels; one of my friend told me I should try high stiletto heels…what do you say about it?

When did women start wearing high heels?
The main two reasons I can think of for wearing high heels is to make you look taller and make your legs look longer. But when did this trend start and who started it? Was it just in the last century, or have they been fashionable in centuries past?

High heel shoes started about 400-some years ago. The type of shoe was actually invented and worn by men in the 1600s in France. The rich and noblemen would wear them to look taller. Some women also did this as well. This mostly died out though by the end of the 18th century. Wearing anything that would signify higher status was not a good idea during the French revolution. Heeled shoes were also popular out west (and still today) as a heel of a few inches on cowboy boots made it easier to keep the foot in the horse's stirrup. Which is why cowboy boots have a heel. Women picked up the trend in the late 1800s and really havnt let it go since. Its had ups and downs as far as style. It really began to take off in the 1940s and then again in the 1970s.
