What are the chances of going to the NBA if your 7ft tall?

I'm 6'10" and I'm 17 and wear size 17 shoes. I play AAU and am starting to get some looks from some colleges. Do my chances increase of getting to the NBA heavily by being tall? I have talent and I'm not uncoordinated but I need some work. With my height, good attitude, and willingness to get better and be coaches does this increase my chances of D1 or nba basketball?

D1 is definitely a possibility but NBA would still be tough I'm guessing. You're prolly not the only super tall kid in your AAU league and you deff won't be in college. My advice is keep up your coordination, & athleticism. Don't be that guy who takes forever to get up and down court and has little to no vertical because your so tall. Be the guy that hustles on defense, tries to block every shot he can, and is good for a powerful dunk every once in a while. Tyson Chandler is better than Al Jefferson because of that alone even though Jefferson is the better scorer. And also it wouldn't hurt to work on your range. Even tho you're more than likely going to spend most of your time on court in the post, solid free throw shooting should really be a necessity. If you do make it to the league don't be like Deandre Jordan where you are historically bad at something. Especially something you've practiced since childhood. A short to mid range jumper you can go to from time to time wouldn't hurt to have either. And if you can shoot threes that's even better. That's the main reason why Isaiah Austin from baylor will likely be a lottery pick this year in the NBA Draft. Other then that keep your grades up and pick a good program where you like the coaching staff, plan on winning, and can be a solid rotational player or starter while doing so. Try to stay in the weight room and out of foul trouble since you are a big man. Good luck buddy I'll be rooting for ya!

Is it ridiculous for an adult man to carry a velcro wallet?

haha I don't read too much into it but everytime I see a grown man whip out his velcro wallet I laugh my butt off. What are your thoughts?

You must read a lot into the velcro Wallet, since you asked this question.... When you carry a lot of cash, and the wallet gets bulky, zippers break...Velcro just expands a bit.... I guess that means you know how to tie your shoes??? After all velcro sneakers are a no no.....in your life,.....also velcro catches on coats, track pants or anything else...What about the guys, who carry the man purses? Sorry...just having a laugh. You brightened my day with this question... I usually look at other parts, of a guy, when they reach below their belt...Guess I will have to start checking out their wallet instead... :-)))
