steve madden shoe sizes??? PLEASE HELP!!!?

so i want to buy theses steve madden shoes (http://store.delias.com/item.do?categoryID=&itemID=49734) a couple of questions 1) should i get the black or silver (i think the black is a bit more bad ass) !!!!!!!!! i have heard that steve madden shoes run small. if u have this pair- 1)do they run true to size or small 2) what the helll does a shoe running small mean. if i am usually a size eight should i go with a 7and a half or an eight and a half??? i do have have another pair of steve madden heals but i dont know if they will be the same since the ones i want are only half an inch. i know this is a long question but i could really use some help:))) if u cant see it i wanted the knitte sandal http://www.stevemadden.com/item.aspx?id=44077

I couldnt see the pic but I take it you want the pagoda heels. But my Steve Maddens fit me ok, some of the shoes run a bit narrow so if you have a fat foot it might be iffy. Like onw of my heels from Madden I had to go down a whole size but I got a new pair and they were a perfect fit. Now if a show runs small, then that means that you should go up 1/2 - 1 size larger, if a shoe runs large do the opposite. Just take you chances, I would buy my reg. Shoe size if too big get an insert if but a bit tight, get some shoe stretch, it will work with the leather. I hope this helps. Mander B.
