Why does my computer do this?
I downloaded the RedAlert3 demo from their website ( http://portal.commandandconquer.com/redalert/ ) it is an application file, 1.8GB. When I click to run it, nothing happens, and then the window of the folder it's in stops responding. Can anyone give me some advice please? My computer is a fairly fast computer, and I know it wasn't spyware or a virus, because it's from the producer's web site!

Look buddy when installing such big files, the program executes in background and start extracting its files in the temp folder, and after complete extraction it launches the program, if u want to track that open task manager and open process tab now watch for ur program and now run that it will show a new process which will start consuming more and more memory, and after sometime it will run the program, secondly if u r unable to find such a process in task manager, then this can be a problem with the downloaded file, sometime the downloaded file in corrupted, because of incorrect download or packet missing try using some good quality download manager to download it again and then retry

I CANNOT login to EA or create a new account (I have tried IE9 and Chrome). Any ideas?
I want to get the C&C4 public beta but I cannot login. On commandandconquer.com I get a message that says "Sorry, user login services are currently unavailable. Please try again later." On EA I don't even get a message, it just loops back to the login page.

I am having somewhat of the same problem. I have managed to download the beta yesterday and played it all day. But today I am trying to login and getting the same message along with when i try to sign in for the game its self i get a message "General System Error". So I am hoping they are doing some server work or something but after seeing that your problem has been going for a couple of days now that takes away from my theory that it is just temporary. It would be nice if you could repost with any updates.
