Linda asks…
What are some good, cute shoes for school?
My style is girly and kinda preppy. I love sperrys(: I'm getting some of those but I want a different kind too. I don't really like converse and vans.
Our pick of the answers:
Gladiator sandals are always nice to start off the new school year. But obviously, don't invest on too many pairs, because we're going right into fall, and then winter. If it snows where you are, and if it gets cold, I would reccomend a tall pair of leather riding boots. Some brands include Steve Madden and Colin Stuart (which can be found both at Victoria's Secret and Nordstrom), Frye, Loefflar Randall...but I think you can get a cheaper pair at Wet Seal or Charlotte Russe, asos.com, or amazon.com, Urban Outfitters, or H&M. Boots keep you warm, and they look SO cute with a pair of skinny jeans that are tucked in, or a floral sundress. They're always in every fall and winter, and they come back, so investing in a good quality pair is nice. They're a timeless trend.
Maria asks…
Where can you buy cheap Oxfords for girls?
They are so cute and I really want a pair!
Our pick of the answers:
Modcloth.com might be your best bet, most of the shoes are under $50 and have a pretty good selection. Steve Madden isn't a bad choice, there's usually a ton of oxfords but they're a bit more expensive. Be prepared to fork over $60-80, maybe more depending on the shoe. If your definition of cheap is in the $35 or so price range, try Wet Seal, Charlotte Russe, F21. Target, Kohl's and Payless often times have nice shoes for under $35 too. If all else fails, thrift! Many times these shoes have been worn just a few times, sometimes not even at all (just tried on) and you get very nice shoes for just pennies on the dollar.
