Anyone, Whats your view on men whearing hifh heels?
my firend steven is totally gay(even gets mistaken for a girl at times), hes feminine but he can act and look like a boy at times. also has medium lenght hair. and he wants to try wearing high heels, stiletos, wedges, etc. etc. what do you think.?

Our pick of the answers:
If they are happy and they like them then I could care less. I would never wear them myself but if a man wants to wear them then why not let him? I think it is ok although I would never find a guy who wears them attractive.

Why Does Everything That Females Use, Men Put "Man" In Front to Make It More Masculine?
It's interesting that anything that women use, most men take that and put "man" in front of it. Man-boobs, man-purse, man-heel, manginas etc. for example are some of those things. I'm not saying that there aren't things in the world that aren't the same for women and men products. What I'm wondering is why do they do that? Is it really that bad if they don't put "man" in front of it?

Our pick of the answers:
There is a Biblical, hence a cultural, prohibition on men and women dressing alike. Women have always been able to cross dress because it's practical and it's sexy. Women look more feminine in men's clothing, which is why so much female clothing is inspired by menswear. Also, we have a cultural expectation that straight men do not notice frivolous and trivial things like fashion, or clothing labels, because men work and have serious things on their minds. What this means is that it's very unmanly for a man to look at a leather shoulder bag and know from the detainlg whether this is a manly bag that suits his manly physique, or a feminine bag for a boyish woman. There's a tabu against straight men knowing fashion, even though they are much more aware than many women in reality. Calling "their" accessories man-accessories just helps them maintain the illusion that wearing lipstick does not mean they are not traditional men with minds too burdened by the weight of the world to bother with matte vs gloss or red vs blue tones.
