Your Questions About Womens Heels Size 11

Carol asks…

Please help, shopping for clothes aggrevates me?

Ok so I had my daughter a year ago. Before I had my daughter I weighed 135lbs and i was a size 5-9juniors size 4-6 in womens (depending on the clothes) after I had my daughter i was at 156lbs at a size 10 in womens and 11-13 in juniors. I am now able to wear my size 9 and size 4 but I gave about 50% of my clothes away because some of the items I knew i didnt want of thought i could never wear again. So now my work pants are too big. Ok so for christmas I got about 250 dollars for clothes and so far I still have 130 of it left. I only bought a jacket, 1 pair of heels and, a laced top and a buttonless sweater. I went to the mall 3 days in a row and I was soooooo overwhelmed. My husband says he cant believe I can spend an hour and 1/2 in a store and not buy anything. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME????????? When I go to a store I dont even know where to go, how to start. I am 22 and I really want to look good and trendy but I feel like I may be having a difficult time mixing things in. Before I would wear tight shirts, pants, but now i dont want to wear low rise jeans because i dont want everyone to see my butt when i get down to pick my daughter up. I also feel bad about spending that money. Alhtough it was all gifted to me. HELP!!!!!!

Our pick of the answers:

First of all, breathe. It's just clothes. Second, it's perfectly fine to spend a lot of time in a store and not buy anything. I think the next time you go shopping, bring some friends along. If you're indecisive on something, they can give you advice. You can also ask the sales associates for help. They're also there to give advice. As for stores, i think you should try out stores like Gap, Express, J. Crew, Forever 21, and H&M. They're trendy but they are not too young or too old. My last advice is just try on a lot of clothes. Even if you somewhat like it but don't think it's your style, just try it on. It might look good on you. Okay, try to have some fun and good luck!

Sandy asks…

Bridesmaids shoes - will it go with dress?

Hi. This is the dress my 2 bridesmaids are wearing, the dress is in Espresso and the sash in ivory: http://www.dessy.com/dresses/bridesmaid/2512/#attributeMask=131074&catid=1&displaytype=GridMedium&colorfamilylist=11&activePage=2&rpp=9&SortOrder=Default For their shoes I was thinking about some nice strappy heels, with maybe a few jewel type things on them and they will be in silver (that's one of my accent colours). This may give you an idea: http://cgi.ebay.com/Sexy-Silver-Gemstone-Strappy-Stiletto-Heel-Shoes-Sz-5-5_W0QQitemZ200217189317QQihZ010QQcategoryZ63889QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/WOMENS-JEWEL-SILVER-SHOES-HEEL-SANDALS-LADIES-SIZE-3-36_W0QQitemZ180235548567QQihZ008QQcategoryZ63889QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD2VQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em122 I am not getting them from eBay, probably just our local mall, I am just thinking about this type of style. Do you think this style of shoe will go well with their dresses? I have seen this shoe at a shop at the mall: http://www.williamstheshoemen.com.au/index.aspx?path=products/product&CTRL=PRODUCTDETAILS&cid=2&pid=82&page=1 Do you like it? And this one - but in silver: http://www.williamstheshoemen.com.au/index.aspx?path=products/product&CTRL=PRODUCTDETAILS&cid=2&pid=357&page=1 I don't think they want ivory because it is more a bridal colour than a bridesmaids one. They want silver. Winter spice, that is what I was thinking, may people won't see them so I just thought get something nice enough and that will be fine. Thanks for the advice everyone, look like I need to think about it a bit more and see if they don't mind ivory shoes. I just don't think they would wear those again, compared to silver is all but i will ask anyway. Michael, when it comes time to get their shoes, we are all going looking together. I think I have a right to have a bit of say in wht they get, I'm the bride afterall. Plus it's not like I am flat out choosing, I just want to steer them in the right direction. They don't mind at all either. Great ideas, thanks apbanpos

Our pick of the answers:

I agree with either an ivory or a brown - or even copper, bronze, or dull gold. Silver will make a "Splash" when their shoes do peek out and not really match the dress. Ivory will also make a "splash" (that it, be noticeable) but it will match the dress And please please don't discount comfort. Here, just as an idea of what I mean: these come in bronze, but accented with silver: http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=151648&CategoryID=13614&LinkType=EverGreen http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=279728&CategoryID=13614&LinkType=EverGreen# Here's an ivory shoe that is nice: http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=279728&CategoryID=13614&LinkType=EverGreen#
