Helen asks…
How do I prevent wearing off the label on the soles of my shoes?
I just bought a pair of Nine West flats and I started wearing them today. But after I worn them, I immediately realized part of the N in Nine is already starting to wear off. Eventually you won't be able to see the brand name anymore...what's the point of buying designer shoes if you can't even tell the brand! How do I prevent that?
Our pick of the answers:
Laminating it, maybe ? Or step lighter, making sure not to shuffle your feet.

Preventing stains and scratches on Patent Nude heels?
I just bought some new Patent Nude heels from nine west for a wedding..before i found out it was outside. Ive worn patent shoes before, but theyve always been dark colors, so the stains and scratches dont show too much. but these are nude, and im gonna be walking through gravel a little bit, and grass.. firstly, should i be worried. and second..if i should be worried, how should i prevent the stains and scratches? Thank You!
Our pick of the answers:
Well, first of all, I don't think patent nude heels are suited for an outdoor wedding at all. You're going to want to opt for a chunky heel or wedges. A thinner heel will slice through the grass and into the dirt. Not cute. And if you're walking through a bit of gravel, it will be impossible with a thin heel, and difficult even if you're wearing a chunky heel. I'd absolutely recommend wearing wedges or a really chunky heel, or even flat shoes.
