what size ice skates should i wear if i'm a size 8.5 ladies?
I'm a size 40 euro in shoes or a 8.5 US or a 6 UK Cm in foot size is 25.5. so what size ice skates would i wear? ladies with size 8 (42) feet (and larger)- do you have trouble getting nice shoes?
I'm fed up with 'granny shoes' as the only off the shelf option. I know that you can buy online, but I like to try before I buy. If so many women apparently have larger feet these days, why is there such a problem? In the sales there seems to be so many size 5 and 6's left over it is obvious that shops and manufacturers are trying to supply to a market that has less customers than it is aiming at, whereas the larger sizes are undercatered for. Amusingly, the transvestite market has some very funky (although unwearable!) shoes in the larger sizes. Thanks guys - we should form a club!! BTW - I live in the UK. I'm thinking the US size is different from here, isn't it? La buena - good idea especially as the $-£ is good for us Brits ATM!! cuty007- I think mentioning something once is far from 'obsessing' over something. Anyway, what woman doesn't want nice shoes? Reasonable enough, I think. Where is 'over here' anyway? Is 8 1/2 the same the world over?
