Could you please rate my writing on a scale of one-ten?
I'm in Ninth grade honors English and we have a paper due on a descriptive writing. Please rate my and provide feedback and mention of any spelling or grammatical mistakes :} My Bedroom We all have that place where we feel free to think or act however we please in peace. Like many teens that place for me is my bedroom. Before you even enter my sanctuary you'll come across a sheet of paper on my door where I have written: LEAVE ME ALONE! In over 20 languages. I feel it gets my point across. The second you slide open the door your ears will be delighted by the music constantly playing from my iPod and its dock. It's usually playing Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon suggested by my friend, Jackie in a constant cycle. By just taking a quick glance around you'll notice my normally boring white walls are splattered with posters and other miscellaneous "garbage" as my mother might refer to it as. Strung across the top of all my walls are dazzling multi-colored Christmas lights that give small splashes of radiant colors on my otherwise dull walls. The lights are relaxing and look astonishing when the sun has set and the lights prevent my room from being submerged in darkness. Almost all parts of what's left empty on the wall are covered with posters ranging Mario Bros. to Family Guy to Led Zeppelin and my favorite The Beatles one that has pictures of almost all their albums in a collage of colors. Next to it dangles a rainbow of beads and other necklaces. Above my bed there's a large thick, itchy, green fabric with a large yellow paw print encased with the words "ROCK BRIDGE BRUINS". My thick sky blue carpet is pretty much an eyesore. Over the years it has accumulated a few stains from spilt soda cans and glasses of iced tea. I cover up as much as possible with a dark cerulean shag rug that slightly tickles your feet if you walk over it while you're temporarily shoe-challenged. I have three bookshelves jam-packed corner to corner with old chapter books. I guess my mom figured the more books she bought me the more likely I am to be an avid reader like her…you got lucky mom. On my favorite deep blue wire bookshelf I've covered it with an apricot Hula skirt that sways even in the most unnoticeable breeze. I do all my sleeping, writing, sketching, and relaxing all on my ancient bed. Back in the day it seemed very spacious but that I've grown so much my feet dangle of the edge while I "catch a few Z's. My comforter is vertically striped with many vibrant colors. It's very thick and snuggly, trapping all my body heat. My headboard is hardly noticeable since it's concealed by a variety of pillows. On the wall to the right of my headboard there are two bulky sized windows that I normally cover with thick blood-red curtains that give off an eerie red luminance during the day and block out almost all sunlight. I find my room to be remarkably relaxing and an outlet for any rage that may be caused by the other six people residing in my household. When in here I'm only bothered once in a blue moon. It's too bad I can't say the same for my possessions. Every night I can easily drift asleep while watching the celadon green wax in my lava lamp bounce around in random patterns. My room is my only oasis in my desert of despair.

Maria asks…
Do you think buying attire for bridal party is enough of a gift?
I went to the tux rental store with my husband he has three GM and the tuxes were all over 150 bucks and the one he really like was 210 and this is for renting. We were both in sticker shock and decided to think it over. I went to the outlets today and in one of the suit shops they had a ton on sale Blazers orginally 265 marked down to 55 matching slacks from 119 mark down to 35 dress shirts with ties 19.99 and mens dress shoes from 89.00 marked down to 25.00 for a grand total of this came to a total of 135 ish and i figure the guys would get to keep the suits if they ever needed them for a funeral or weddings or some are business men and wear suits daily. But i didnt want to get them the suits, cause they live out of town, and then ask them to pay me for them so i though it could just be there gift. But is that a fair gift like its something im making them wear? I guess i might be able to spring for like a ten dollar money clip in addition but i definitly cant afford 145 gifts for all my attendants???? What would you do?? I know that but the rentals are too high and i dont want to ask them to spend that much and my fh and son would both need one and thats over 420 dollars for us alone than. Im just asking if its too rude to ask them to pay me back for the suits ore is it rude to say ill buy them but this counts as your gift??? Both kinda sound rude to me Dear Mrs Joe Jess you have not answered my question but only given your 2 cents on wedding etiquette which is fine but doesnt help me so you have been reported * Thank you for you im put and your right i wont be like this is your gift or anything rudley but we went to DB for tuxes well they do it threw mens warehouse and the starting price was 159.00 and that was for a basic tux which these suits even look better
Our pick of the answers:
OMG Great idea wish i had thought of that. I would even nix the money clips i bet theyd just love paying less and keeping the suits as a gift.
