Your Questions About Court Shoes Tennis

Susan asks…

What is the diff. b/w clay court and synthetic court shoes in Lawn Tennis ?

Difference b/w clay court and synthetic court shoes in Lawn Tennis

Our pick of the answers:

I assume you are asking about the bottom of the shoes. I have never found it to be necessary to worry too much about what kind of tennis shoes i wear and don't change shoes for different surfaces. The only thing that is required is that you wear shoes that won't tear up the surface, which can be an issue on clay and har-true. I'm not saying that you shouldn't get the best shoes available, what i'm saying is that you shouldn't consider surface when buying good tennis shoes, but rather how they treat your feet...

Laura asks…

can i use my tennis shoes on a volleyball court?

i play for my school's team, and i have nike shocks and tennis shoes. Which one's should i use. tennis shoes are a bit more comfy, cuz the shocks are getting a LITTLE tight. and im not going to buy vball shoes. so which ones should i use? thanks yea, these shocks are preety much just casual

Our pick of the answers:

Well it depends what kind of shocks they are. If they are just the casual shocks not designed for a particular sport they might not be very good because they are often tippy and can be much easier to roll an ankle. I used my tennis sneakers until i got volleyball ones and they worked out fine.
