Your Questions About Women's Platforms Shoes

Laura asks…

Where can I buy 1970's platform shoes?

Where could I find women's, 70's platform shoes in Centennial, Littleton,Highlands Ranch, or Denver, Colorado? I'd prefer not to buy them online, so if there's a store (preferably in Centennial or Denver) where I could find cheap ones, that'd be great.

Our pick of the answers:

Any Vintage shoe store

Betty asks…

Where can I find Lolita shoes in a woman's 11 (US)?

Here are some examples of what a few shoes look like. This particular site only carries up to an 8.5. I can squeeze my feet into a 10.5 the smallest, but 11 are ideal. http://www.milanoo.com/3-1-2%27%27-Heel-2%27%27-Platform-Black-Lace-Tie-Bow-PU-Lolita-Boots-p30242.html http://www.milanoo.com/3%27%27-Heel-2-4-5%27%27-Platform-Pink-Crisscross-Bow-Buckle-PU-Lolita-Sandals-p30659.html

Our pick of the answers:

Although many lolita shops sell their own shoe designs, I doubt that they'll fit a size US 11. Here are some that do offer up to that size and/or do custom sizing: http://stores.ebay.com/Funky-Little-Shop http://www.annahousefashion.com/ www.bodyline.co.jp/ http://www.qutieland.com/index2.php Especially for Bodyline, I suggest using this shoe size chart (their's is a little off) http://www.internationalshoesizes.com/ FYI: http://community.livejournal.com/egl/14484905.html
