my cousin's 18th birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks & i'm planning to give her a nice present. she loves both the pumps & the watch.. but my budget is running low i could only afford one.
If I were picking for me it would be the pumps every time! But buying a present for some else, I might get the watch. Shoes could not fit right or be the wrong size. The watch should be fine right out of the box. So if she has already tried the shoes on, then definitely pick those. If not get here the watch.

I have a pair of Nine West stilletos that are very classy. I got them a few years ago when the pointy style was very in. I was just wondering, are they still in style? They're getting a bit old and I think it's time I buy another cute pair of black pumps. What is the most in style for 2010? For example, open toes, mary janes, platform, etc. Uh, I'm 17 haha.
I personally like variations of open toed the best right now. Pointy shoes are kind of classic, and are still in style as far as business casual wear, but if you are looking for heels to go out it, I would go with something a little trendier right now. Just don't go with platforms like you listed, those are a no-go

the shoes i want only come in wide or narrow sizes.
Well, I would say it would be hard to fit into a wide, because if you change the size, it still will not change the width of the shoe. You can try going down a half-size, but I'm not sure that would work.
Maria asks…
I'm always in pumps for work. But I have 2 shoe stretchers that I keep going at all times on different pairs of shoes because my chub chub piggy feet are too wide. ALL of my shoes need to be stretched out width wise. But I'm really tired of doing this. I love pumps and stylish shoes. I've had some luck with Jessica Simpson - it seems a lot of her shoes are made for people with wide feet. But looking for more options since I'm not really into 2 inch platforms :) Not really into the 'earthy' style shoes that look most comfy. Any suggestions? Going one size bigger is not an option - because then they slip off the back. :( Thank you for the info on Torrid - I will check them out!
I suffer the same problem i hate it i also love heels i usually go to torrid they are a plus size store so theyre shoes are the same, i also go to payless they have stylish shoes and online if you go to shoedazzle i believe they have some too. Hope it helps

(excuse my bad typing and grammar and english altogether im sort of in a rush) im 14 and my sis is 19. i would tell my parents but they have jobs that require them to travel so i don't get a chance my other siblings left and went to college and well one in boarding school so it's pretty much just me her and the nanny and the nanny can barely get English (she's french).
Join the club hon, you just described my life, 'cept for the fact that I kinda sorta punched my sister in the face the very last time she said something like that. I would recommend this, but this is a family friendly site so I am just gonna give you the best advice I can- Tell her that she can go **** herself, (sorry for language, at least I used stars instead) and that if she doesn't like your style that she should just keep that to herself.

I love to stand out from the crowd with my own bright style...do you think I would be the hit of the party???? Hope you can help me...do you like it?!

I want to get a pair of vibram five fingers bikilas, but the men's are always sold out everywhere i go and look. It seems women's bikilas are always in stock though, and this guy on youtube said he ordered a women's pair in his size for this same reason. I'm a men's 11, and the vibrams i tried were size 41. What is that in women's shoes?
Womens sizes are always 2 sizes bigger than mens. I wear a womens size 10 shoe & when I go for mens sizing I have to get an 8. So you'd need a womens size 13...which isn't very easy to come by so good luck.
Betty asks…
I have a friend who is straight, has a girlfriend who he shares an active sex life with, but he likes to wear women's high heels in the privacy of his own home. He is very secretive and frequently views websites such as Zappo's or other shoe designer websites. It appears as if this is a form of sexual stimulation for him. He doesn't want to discuss it, but I am just wondering if anyoen has had an experience with this type of behavior?
I think he just has a fetish for women's shoes. It's not so unusual that he's straight because most men who get a sexual thrill from women's clothes or shoes are straight and they like women hence the attraction to their garb. For me, being gay, I like certain articles of clothes that are for men like jockstraps. I think those are hot on a guy, but the jockstrap itself isn't that much of a turn on unless I know who was wearing it before hand! ;-) I also like guys in high top basketball sneakers and skater shoes, so I guess we all have our kinks!

Helen asks…
where can i buy these and how much would it cost me? for the real human hair extensions, any additional information is appreciated.
At Claire's 2/$5. Getting extensions are not that easy, like buying shoes. AND if you have problem styling your own hair, add hair extensions to the formula, it will be even harder to style when you have them. People waste tons of money on extensions because it's the new trend. Without doing much research. Then, they come to YA HAIR and ask us questions on how to clip it on their hair, if they can go swimming, play sports, if they can dye or perm, etc. Do you think you'll have time for school, trying to put on hair extensions over 1 hour every morning? Then, they ruin it by dyeing to match their hair. If you live in NYC, Chicago, Atlanta, Texas or San Diego and you wear hair extensions made by Remy, it COULD have been from a stolen beauty store and are sold for much more! It's also possible they're being sold ONLINE. It's really not that simple! Then again, it will not work out if you have thin hair, the clip will be showing through! How embarrassing will that be, if it keeps falling out from your head, if it's not on right!?! May 22, 2011: Model and businesswoman Katie Price, who was formerly topless model Jordan, is demanding compensation from a top Los Angeles hair salon after she spent $17,000 on hair colourings and extensions that she claims were botched, leaving her hair so damaged it began falling out. Kate Gosselin got hers from a salon, and she was on the front cover of People magazine, but she HATED her hair!!!! Access Hollywood. She paid $7,000 for hers. Took 7 hours. At the salon: 25-50 ($50-$100) extensions, they also have hidden costs, like monthly maintenance fees, one girl charge YA poster $248 more saying the salon put 120 extensions on her head, but she only counted 60. They are very charming! Google Britney Spear's hair extensions. July 21, 2010. Jessica Simpson & Paris Hilton don't even use their own hair extensions, plus they have stylists to do them in photo shoots or travel with them. Jessica was photographed, showing her clip-ons during a windy day. EXAMPLES OF WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING ABOUT their HAIR EXTENSIONS well on friday i got synthetic extensions, and they dont curl very well, so i was wondering if i plaited them and left them over night would they go crinkly and mix in with my real hair because theyre fake i dont know if i can actually style them very well, which is annoying! +they are starting too get ratty, any tips on how to take care of them ? Thanks! And another ex: I have sewn in hair extensions. My natural hair is neck-length, and these extensions are down to my chest. They're sewn in (if you didn't already know) with black tracks, while the hair is my natural hair colour: brown. But I want to have it up in a high-ish ponytail. But, obviously, the tracks are really obvious. How can I make them less obvious? I hate having to have my hair down all the time. I've always wanted it, but now I'm getting bored. :/ One more ex: I removed my hair extensions yesterday after 4 months. My hair is really thin does any1 no any good products to thicken it? And another ex: i bought 100 dollars clip in 100% human hair extensions and it hurts and pulls my hair. U shud just wait til it grows out. My hair was real short and i wanted extensions real bad and now i feel bad wasting 100 bucks on that where i cud of spent it on clothes or sumother beauty thing. Ur not going to wear them after a while cuz u get annoyed having to keep clipping them in and all or whateever kind of extensions ur getting. This one says it all: i have had hair extensions done in a hairdressers in melton mowbray 3weeks ago. I have been told they are 100% real hair but they look terrible,it looks like i have been back-combing it. If i curl them it just goes frizzy and if i straighten them it also goes very frizzy with the back-coming look. I have bought all the products that was advised and i have looked after them the way i was told to. I have had hair extensions before and they were lovely, i had no problems. I have been back 2 times to the hairdressers for help and advise and i was told that the hair is rubbing on my shoulders which is giving the back-combing look (my shoulders are not that big). I am now asking for my money back and the hair taken out but they are refusing. I have spoke to the hairdressing federation and they told me to call trading standards, they said to get them tested but i do not know where to send them. Thanks for any help. Sources: I know hair. I have over 4 decades of hair know-how. I have silky, shiny, soft, smooth very healthy hair down to my knees. Previously damaged by perming & dyeing in the 90's. I've known people in their 30's whose hair stopped growing from ironing their hair in the 70's.

I'm currently using the Clearsil Ultra Stay Free system and it's not really doing much for the cystic pimples, i think it's even causing it.... cystic pimples suck!
Sometimes you have to go to a Dermatologist for help with acne that is bad like this. There may be some over-the-counter products you can use, but a Dermatologist can put you on acne-reducing oral antibiotics or a topical antibiotic that helps keep you from breaking out. Many people think that Dermatologists are very expensive...they can be, but it depends on what they are treating your for and where they are located. Many Dermatologists are very reasonable priced because they have to work with insurance carriers, insurance picks up the majority of the cost because it is a medical expense, and then you pay a percentage of the cost (normally no more than $20.00 per visit). A really good Dermatologist will give you the names of the best products to use on your type of skin so that takes a lot of the guesswork out of it. But without oral or topical antibiotics, I doubt that anything over-the-counter is going to work for you because this is the type of acne that makes big bumps, tends to leave scars and pock marks on your face. They you have to go to a Dermatologist or Cosmetic Surgeon later on for laser procedures to help smooth out your skin and it will cost more. Generally, unless it is a medically necessary procedure most insurance companies will not pay for a Cosmetic Surgeon's fees because they are considered cosmetic and not medical procedures. I had really bad acne as a teen and I would not have made it without a Dermatologist. My skin would have been ruined. These doctors are, without a single doubt, the best way you can handle this type of problem. You can ask another doctor for a referral like my mom did to make sure you get a really highly recommended doctor that is good at their job. And don't believe all of the advice that people will give you about trying ProActive. It is a generic product that is not endorsed by Dermatologists. Jessica Simpson did not use their products...she was paid an endorsement to advertise for ProActive. I guarantee you she keeps her face like it is by going to see a very high dollar Dermatologist in California. I know this stuff because I have been in your shoes before and believe me, I know what I am talking about when I say that the doctor will tell you what you can and can't eat, how many times to wash your face and what to use on it, plus prescribe the medication that helps cut down on the acne production and oil in your face. If you absolutely cannot afford a Dermatologist, go see your Family Physician. They can give you some samples of things to try on your face to see what works best for you. They can help you some, but not to the degree that a Dermatologist can do for you. I hope this is of some help to you! And good luck to you! :-)

I'm in seventh grade. For the Valentine's day spirit day a bunch of girls wore heels so I want to do the same for st. Patricks day. They have a half inch heel and are styled like flip-flops, in the way that they only have two straps to hold on the toe, only, you know, they're heels. I don't want to wear anything super high like my three inch heels that I only wear to dances, but I like the 1/2 heel. It's cute, but formal looking, and you can say you're wearing high heels without looking like a skank. I also took some hunter green fabric and cut a shamrock out of it to put on the shoe over a black rose, but it looked very dark and boring, so I put some green glitter on it. It still looked very boring, so I outlined it in gold glitter. Haven't tried it on with the gold but I hope it turns out well. Idk, it looks a little...homemade, but then again you should see some of the stuff the girls at my school wear on 'spirit day' (which is basically where you dress up for some occasion or another, often followed by a school dance). Homemade jewelry, self-decorated white shirts, tutu skirts...ect ect ect. So do you think I should wear them? My friends have all said to just wear sneakers, but that was when I was considering wearing my 3 inch heels. They don't even know I own this pair. And technically, I don't, they're my mom's old shoes, but she hasn't worn them in so long she forgot she owned them. Especially considering she works at a place that doesn't even allow formal dress (a hospice. According to her, they said no heels, no flats, no skirts or dresses, short, unpolished nails, no pronounced jewelry, ect) and after 3 kids one doesn't go out much. Not to mention that they fit me perfectly, meaning they're FAR too small for her. * 29 minutes ago * - 4 days left to answer. * Report Abuse Additional Details (I've asked this question before and I just want to make these things clear, so i copy and pasted) They have a little tiny heel. It's there, but just for show, you know? So you can click-clack down the halls and kind of say, "I'm wearing high heels! I'M SO MATURE YAY!!!" 24 minutes ago Bonus question: What color should I paint my toenails? I have bright red, magenta-ish red, medium blue, purple, and a coral pink which I hate. I'm wearing a green shirt with little tiny rosebuds covering it in dark pink and purple, and obviously jeans. 19 minutes ago They're not ugly! It's just the style OF THE STRAPS, it's not like they're rubber shoes with a heel! And no, not really trying to fit in, I'd assume about 5 out of the hundreds of girls I see at shoes wore heels. I just like wearing heels! Is that a crime? 17 minutes ago By saying "a bunch of girls" I literally mean a bunch of girls, like the equivalent to an average group of friends. Idk, the school is pretty diluted with boys and it's not like I survey 700 girls to see what shoes they're wearing. I can walk in heels, I've always been able to walk in them. The first time I ever wore heels, last month at the semi-formal dance, I could still run in them after 2 hours even though they were hurting like heck. And 1/2 inch is barely anything. Oh for crying out loud. I was being melodramatic! I'm probably the most immature girl at my school. I just heels look cute xD
Wear whatever shoes you want to wear but this "I'm wearing high heels! I'M SO MATURE YAY!!!" is telling the world the only thing you care about is what other people think and by reading your question i'm going to say you aren't mature!!! But wear whatever you want as long as your feet won't be killing you by the end of the day!!! And why does it mean your moms shoes are far to small for her if they fit you perfectly??? You need to grow up quite a bit and stop posting the same question your folding for peer pressure and one day your gonna have to make your own decisions!!!

Beat him with her stilettos or take out a finger nail file or something instead of freak out. I mean seriously step on a guys thang with your stilettos major pain. Or spray hair spray at him or something.
Because it usually happens to fast for her to try and do anything about it. Also shes most likely not paying attention so shes not ready for anything like that to happen.

Take in mind i do NOT want a big heel.. Just somthing Nice :)
Of course wearing heels are appropriate for your age! I started wearing heels regularly at age 13. Just make sure their the height you want, and make sure you can walk in them. Otherwise you'll look awkward!

Can anybody help me. Im going on a usual holiday in the uk and i want to know what to pack what i should avoid (fashion wise) and what things i should pair with other things. include things like shoes handbags etc
Heya i live in the UK so hopefully I can be helpful. There are so many different fashions over here that it doesn't matter what you wear, but mostly people wear jeans with a nice shirt and a lot of people wear shoes like this : http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/shoes/ballet-pumps?trail=1002:cat30004:14002:cat1350015&icCategory=cat30004&bfh_so=-bestSellerScore&bfh_ps=20 with handbags like this: http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/handbags-and-purses_30037 basically if you are looking what to wear there look at clothing stores online like www.topshop.com and www.newlook.com because a lot of people shop there from the UK. The weather always changes here so bring stuff for rainy windy weather and also for very hot weather. Have fun :)

Mandy asks…
Hello fashion friendly people! I'm looking for good women's shoes to go to work in. The type of place I work in has lots of safety issues with shoes. Specifically, I need the shoe to cover the toes and most of the top of the foot. Also, I can not wear heels over 1 inch high. I would like it to be flexible, too. Unfortunately, that leaves me wearing sneakers all the time, and I feel pretty dumpy looking. Men in the work place wear loafers or dress shoes. But the women are having lots of trouble finding something that meets the requirements and looks professional. Flats are great, but they do not cover the top of my foot. Fashion isn't a big deal for us, but I can't look sloppy and I'm not an old lady. So I'm stuck. Are there any recommendations on a flat women's shoe that meets these requirements? Any names of styles or brands I could try out? Thank you.
What about something like this? Http://www.dansko.com/#detail,Sienna,Sausalito,2 or like this http://www.merrell.com/US/en-US/Product.mvc.aspx/W-F-F/15540W/0/Gender-Gallery-Root/Women/Footwear/Filters/Womens/Encore-Adams I have some Merrell clogs that I wear a lot. While they won't land me on the fashion pages, they are comfy to wear all day long.

With fall almost here I need to start thinking about casual comfy shoes for work. I will wear my sandals and flats till it gets too cold . . .and then I have to think about socks and shoes. . . ugh :( I just need an opinion on these shoes or if you can suggest shoes that have a mary jane flat style. They have to be flats as I am on my feet all day, its a office casual setting (but not too casual) these are the shoes http://www.aldoshoes.com/ca-eng/women/shoes/flats/80555849-casdorph/97
Those are perfect for work, and they are adorable!

Morey's Fine Fish and Seafood
Motley, MN (PRWEB) October 01, 2013
Morey's brings restaurant quality fish and seafood into your home. A wide variety of delicious frozen and smoked creations are available in national grocery and club stores. Beginning October 1, Morey's will be launching a month-long "Big Catch" Giveaway that includes weekly giveaways via Facebook AND a recipe contest component that will award three winners. Total giveaways throughout the month will total nearly $ 1,500.
Prizes include cookware and accessories from top name brands, Visa gift cards and various assortments of Morey's frozen Fish Creations® and Shrimp Creations®. Weekly prizes will be provided to a single winner each Monday in October from among Facebook fans picked who comment, like or share a Morey's post (or retweet or reply to Morey's tweets via Twitter). In addition, fans that submit an original recipe and photo featuring a dish prepared with Morey's product will be eligible for additional prizes, including a grand prize worth $ 500. Once finalists are determined from the pool of recipe submissions, the three winners will be determined based on fan voting in early November.
The Morey's Big Catch Giveaway comes on the heels of Morey's successful "Fresh Recipes" Contest in July. Morey's fan, Heidi Proetz Burns, won the grand prize for her Wild Salmon Dill Wrap recipe. The new promotion in October will, again, welcome recipes but also reward select fans for simply responding to posts on Facebook and Twitter. Entries made to the recipe portion of the promotion can be an appetizer, entrée, salad or even a dessert. Winning entries will be based on both creativity and ease of preparation, as well as visual appeal. Winning entries will be featured on Facebook and in the recipe section of Moreys.com
For complete information on the promotion, to enter to win prizes and to review the official rules of the promotion, visit Facebook.com/MoreysSeafood.

Bill Clinton sexually harassed women and was accused of rape. Ted Kennedy killed a woman by driving drunk and letting her drown. Why were they given a pass by the left?
Nice try. Here is the GOP platform: Fake outrage and loud noises! Very large pants! Tattoo of bald eagle with Budweiser can in its talon on chest! Anti-tax rally in the middle of the work day! Women in the kitchen! -A. Republican
